European Restaurants 2023-2024

The restaurant offers both traditional and more contempory Italian cuisine. Their meat, fish and chicken provides a wide, but carefully chosen, selection to present authentic Italian cuisine.

Crab and prawns starter...expensive at £12.95. Big portions and rather basic taste, as you would expect as it is hidden by the rose Marie sauce... not worth it in my opinion.

Fish was perfectly cooked: lemon sole in a lemon and butter sauce... let down as it was supposed to be accompanied by creamed spinach but turned out to be warm broccoli and potatoes.

Always difficult to order fish in a restaurant.

The Veggie Burger was amazing... tasted like real meat cooked to perfection.

What a surprise and the best burger I've had which is healthy.... a must try!

To finish - cheese cake and ice cream ...

Champneys is a lakeside Spa Resort in Liphook set in 160 acres of woodland and greenery.

Starter - Cheese Souffle which was really light and fluffy. Needed a bit more seasoning & cheese but healthy.

Fillet Steak- sadly poor presentation and dry. No jus and served with potato wedges which added to the dryness and bland taste.

It is a health spa but could do with a bit more taste in the dining.
